Jewish Educational Excellence

The Yael Foundation brings its blueprint for Jewish education to Italy.

We build and run the programs that set the standard — camp, the international summit, leadership training, and a flagship academy — and we are opening that work to the communities of Italy.

Education that carries tradition forward, and gives it somewhere new to go.

Every program we create is designed to raise the bar — to inspire students, strengthen the educators who guide them, and turn deep-rooted tradition into living, modern practice. The result is more than a set of schools and events. It is a blueprint for Jewish educational excellence that any community can build on, and one we are now planting in Italy.

What we run

Four programs, one standard.

From a child's first summer away to a principal's leadership journey, each initiative feeds the next — and each is being introduced to families and educators across Italy.

Yael Camp

A summer where identity feels like home.

Each summer, Jewish teenagers from every kind of background come together to build real friendships and celebrate who they are — fully funded, at no cost to their families. What they carry home is belonging.

Three days that reset the whole year.

The annual summit gathers Jewish educators from thirty-one countries to sharpen their craft, work through shared challenges, and meet the rare peers who understand the job from the inside. The community it builds lasts long after everyone flies home.

Yael Awards

A global night for excellence in Jewish education.

Held each year, the Awards honour the schools, leaders, and communities doing the most remarkable work in the Jewish world — in the classroom, across their neighbourhoods, and in the ways they reinvent what education can be. By naming that excellence out loud, we hope to inspire the people who will carry it forward.
